Want more leads?
If you've not read the study Forbes did about response time to leads, it's worth your time.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenkrogue/2012/07/12/the-black-hole-that-executives-dont-know-about Here's the cliff notes version: If you're measuring the time it takes to respond to leads in hours or days instead of seconds, you're wasting serious money. It's the reason we use messenger chat bots and forms that not only email the business owner the new lead, but connects them via phone to their potential customer within seconds of the form being submitted. Responding to leads within seconds amps up your credibility and your customer service. Simply responding quickly tells your potential customer you are the only person they need to get in contact with because you are going to serve the hell out of them. There isn't a good reason not to contact your potential customers within seconds of them showing interest in your product or service. Doing anything else will damage your conversion rate. Try responding lightning fast for a week... you'll be surprised at the results, and quickly developing a new, lucrative habit as well.

How important is air to humans?
Content to online marketing is like air to humans. Seem a bit overdramatic? Maybe. But it's awfully important. So, if you're in the business of trimming trees, in Ohio, in January, ranking well within a search engine like Google or Bing isn't going to help much in those off months....
What in the world are citations?
They're essentially directories around the internet the search engines use to gauge how often a certain business is seen in those directories. The more directories you're in, the higher the chances you'll increase your ranking in the search results. The single most important factor to keep in mind when inputing your business into these directories is making absolutely certain to use your business name, phone number, and address EXACTLY as it appears in your Google My Business account. If they aren't exactly the same, the count won't be as high as it should when Google's or Bing's robots crawl the directories counting the number of times you show up. What are the best citation directories? WhiteSpark.ca has a great list to use... some are paid directories, some are free. It's best to try to find the directories that fit your niche if at all possible. Knock a few out per night or let us do the work for you and before you know it, you'll be getting calls from people seeing your map listing! So, you know when you do a Google search for a local servcie and right below the ads is a map listing?
